May 10, 2005 - 5:24 p.m. In the Real World... Back into the "real world" of a steady job. I started training for my new job as a debt collector on Monday and have learned many things since then... None of them things that I can share... they are oh so very private. My roommate seemed a litte weird about things because she'd applied for the job first and I am the first person out of us that they contacted. I had many twinges of guilt because I applied out of the blue and had a very fast response... To be honest it was a little faster than I might have liked. Ironically though, today when I got home there was a message for her on our voicemail... they want to hire her too. So now I don't feel like an impetuous child. I can go through my training without the guilty feeling that I stole my roommate's job from her. Yay! In other news, the Commodore is one of the best greasy spoon diners in the world. There is no where else that I can get a tomato and lettuce sandwich (no mayo, toasted!) with tasty, tasty home fries for under 5 dollars. It makes my tummy gurgle with glee! :D Thank you Crash, for buying me the meal. I love you.
