VNV, Boots That Kill, Maybe Some Brunch on the Side...
I am a horrible person, I slept in until 11:10 and missed the end poverty march... I sowwy. As a wannabe activist my shame is that I always somehow miss these things for extrememly stupid reasons.
I was up until around 2am this morning after seeing VNV Nation and I must say they put on one of the best shows I've seen in a while. They interacted with the audience and did two encore performances. Sweet deal.
I dressed to kill..... my feet. *sigh* I looked really hot but my feet felt like bloodly lumps of writhing flesh by the end of the show. But I looked HOT!
The German member of VNV was the coolest person ever... all throughout the show he had a huge grin on his face. I love that.
Onto less brainless sounding topics... I am still getting used to my new job - I'm starting to feel fewer butterflies in my stomache when I go into work and I really love enjoy the banter between my coworkers.
I am reading yet another novel by Gregory Macguire - the author of "Wicked..." "Mirror, Mirror" and "Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister". This one is called "Lost". I will go into more detail about my interpretations of these books when I have the time - for now I have to get ready to leave. We're having brunch and we don't know where yet.
